 Welcome

The use of CPR dates all the way back to 1740, yet even today, most Americans don’t know how to perform quality CPR. Given properly and immediately to sudden cardiac arrest victims, CPR can save lives. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is the shortest and most basic, the most important of all medical training classes. Most CPR classes take approximately four and a half (4.5) hours to learn the most important medical course you can take. CPR is performed on patients who are not breathing and do not have a pulse.
THERE IS NO GREATER EMERGENCY.
In this classroom-based course, healthcare professionals learn to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages, use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), recognize and remove airway obstructions (choking), in a safe, timely and effective manner.

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
Also called CPR for Professional Rescuers, these CPR classes are required for emergency medical personnel. This class is designed for anyone currently working, volunteering, or in school for healthcare related fields. Don't let the term basic fool you; this level of training covers CPR and removing airway obstructions (choking) for adults, children and infants. This class also covers AED, ventilation devices, barriers for performing rescue breathing and two-person CPR techniques. If you're planning on going into the medical field, this is the level of training you want. Anyone is welcome to take this course, there are no prerequisites.
On completion of this course, you will receive a card showing that you are nationally certified in CPR and AED, accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA). The certification is good for two (2) years.

Adult CPR Classes
The simplest form of CPR can be learned in approx. one (1) hour. It only covers CPR for adults, (which the American Heart Association defines as eight years old and older). This level of training requires the least amount of medical know-how and is perfect for the workplace, or for empty-nesters looking to be ready in case the unthinkable happens to a spouse or loved one. If you have access to an automated external defibrillator (AED) at work or at home, training for that equipment can be added to this course.

Infant and Child CPR Classes
80% of choking related deaths are children under 5 years of age...... Do you know what to do?

If you care for kids under eight years old, this is the CPR class for you. It is essential for anyone who spends a lot of time with kids to know how to perform CPR on them. Maybe even more important is knowing how to clear an airway obstruction (choking). If you coach or volunteer at a school, church, community club or daycare, if you are a child care provider, a babysitter, etc., then you need to learn child and infant CPR.

Reputable CPR Training Organization
The American Heart Association (AHA) is the absolute authority on all things related to the heart, courses that are accredited by the AHA are accepted universally.

Our Goal Is: When You Learn CPR, That You Won't Be Afraid to Use It
We will make sure that your CPR training covers everything you need. If you're confused in any way, don't hesitate to ask your instructor to clear it up. Several CPR classes are taught with the use of videos or DVD. Don't let that discourage you from getting clarification; that's what the instructor is there for. So that when the time comes, because of the knowledge and training that you receive with CNT Rescue Training, your fears of performing CPR will be replaced with the confidence of being able to perform 'High Quality CPR' as the end result.
